ARDEX Australia, a provider of high-performance building materials, has officially opened its new Oceania headquarters at The YARDS Estate in Kemps Creek, New South Wales.
The $140 million facility, a joint venture between Frasers Property Industrial and Aware Real Estate, marks a significant expansion of ARDEX’s presence in the region.
The cutting-edge facility boasts impressive features designed to enhance both production capabilities and employee wellbeing.
At its core stands a world-class 35-metre-high powder manufacturing tower and a 20-metre silo tower, complemented by onsite production and manufacturing facilities.
The complex also houses research laboratories, warehouse storage, and training rooms.
ARDEX Australia’s new headquarters is targeting a 6 Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia, demonstrating the company’s commitment to sustainability.
The facility goes beyond industrial functionality, incorporating amenities such as an onsite gym, multiple café areas, a rooftop terrace, and high-end interior-designed offices spanning over 3,000 square metres.
Fabian Morgan, Regional Managing Director for ARDEX Oceania and Member of the Global Management Committee, emphasised the significance of the new facility: “We’re not just increasing production capacity, we’re embracing our future, we’re embracing innovation, sustainability and aspirational excellence.”
Morgan also expressed gratitude to Frasers Property Industrial and Aware Real Estate for their partnership in developing the site.
The new headquarters location at The YARDS is strategically chosen to optimise ARDEX’s national logistics network.
Situated near the 24/7 Western Sydney International Airport and the future Southern Link Road in the Western Sydney Aerotropolis, the facility benefits from proximity to major motorways and its position within Greater Western Sydney’s sought-after industrial zone.
The opening ceremony was attended by notable figures including the Mayor of Penrith, Councillor Todd Carney, and Member for Badgerys Creek and Shadow Assistant Minister for Jobs and Small Business, Tanya Davies MP.
Representatives from Frasers Property Industrial, Aware Real Estate, Barings, and ARDEX Australia were also present.
The YARDS estate, spanning 77 hectares in the Mamre Road Precinct, continues to develop rapidly. With five additional buildings scheduled for completion in 2024 and 75 per cent of the estate already leased, it represents a growing hub of industrial activity in Western Sydney.
This new facility not only strengthens ARDEX Australia’s position in the building materials industry but also contributes to the economic growth and development of the Western Sydney region.
