The Australasian Timber Flooring Association is a member service based association with over 720 members, growing year on year. The association operates Australia wide and in New Zealand with a focus on betterment of the industry.
The association is also involved in:
- High consumer assistance service standards
- Manages industry technical services
- Member business support services – legal, IR, WH&S, compliance
- Strong training and education philosophy
- Industry research and development
- Conducts approx. 15 industry events per year
- Conducts approx. 20 training workshops per year
- Template contractor operational forms, documents and checklists
- Holds the national industry awards each year
- Conducts industry wide flooring expos
- Produces industry standards for all sectors of the timber flooring industry
- Operates a national floor inspection system
- Work closely with most insurance companies
- Provides an accreditation program for members and producers/importers
- Works closely with Government agencies – Regulators, Training, Compliance, Standards and Codes Bodies
